My next door neighbor had her baby on Sunday night. Wee baby Paul had a heartbeat for nearly an hour and a half. And then went to Jesus, surrounded by his family.
It was a joy to watch and record through my lens, a night they can not relive, a son they will not see again on this side of eternity and the ever-present joy and strength of the Lord radiating through this family and those gathered to support them. In the midst of great suffering and sadness, there was peace that truly does pass all understanding.
This is not a portrait session. The family asked me to record the night, as it unfolded, candidly and chronologically.
It was a beautiful life. And God was glorified!
